Sales Executive – Outbound
Job Description:
Purpose:
A fast-paced fintech company is seeking a Sales Executive who is responsible for driving new business sales through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, face-to-face meetings, and social selling. The role requires a true hunter who can build their own pipeline from scratch, manage the full sales cycle, and consistently close short-term working capital solutions for SME clients in a high-performance environment
Key Job Outputs:
- Manage a high-volume inbound pipeline of sales opportunities
- Respond to new leads within required SLA timeframes to maximise conversions
- Engage directly with SME business owners and financial decision-makers
- Qualify leads quickly and progress deals efficiently through the sales process
- Present suitable funding solutions based on client business needs
- Maintain strong same-day responsiveness and follow-up discipline
- Manage CRM systems accurately and update deal progression consistently
- Handle multiple concurrent deals while maintaining quality engagement
- Consistently achieve funded deal targets and revenue budgets
- Compete effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant sales, business, finance, or commercial qualification advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum 1.5+ years sales experience for junior level or 5+ years for senior level
- Proven high-volume phone sales background
- Experience selling directly to SME business owners or individual financial decision-makers
- Strong inbound sales experience with direct closing responsibility
- Experience in vehicle finance, F&I, car insurance sales, alternative lending, invoice factoring, bridging finance, or insurance broking advantageous
- Proven speed-to-contact metrics and short sales cycle closing ability
- Experience managing large active sales pipelines
- Must demonstrate actual monthly targets and sales performance achievements
